Meet the Team



Samantha Simms is the senior principal and founder of the Information Collective. As a seasoned information law attorney, she has a wealth of experience in advising multinational corporations and government institutions on privacy, data protection, cyber security and freedom of information matters.


A highly engaging and personable public speaker, Samantha presents globally on data privacy. Her talks often focus on the intersection between privacy and technology, with an emphasis on artificial intelligence, data analytics and inter-device connectivity. She is also a guest lecturer for Mitchell and Hamline school of Law Cybersecurity and Privacy Programme for professionals.

Before launching The Information Collective, Samantha was a Global Privacy Officer for a leading privately held travel company and a global FTSE 250 technology company. 


Claudine Brown is a senior data protection consultant, whose practice focusses on healthcare and financial services clients.

Combining her background in project management and sciences, she specialises in carrying out large-scale Data Privacy Impact Assessments requiring complex and detailed understanding of technical processes.  

Claudine has a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology and a Graduate Diploma in Law.  



Shirin Kousari-Rocks is a commercial legal consultant
and resident expert in commercial and technology transactions
across the travel, publishing and financial
services sectors.  


A highly skilled negotiator with a sharp legal mind, her background as a barrister enables her to glide through complex, multinational transactions for Fortune 500 companies.  

Shirin was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2010.
